House Music Competition – 19th March

On Thursday 19th March, our annual House Music Competition brought an exciting evening of performance, creativity and house spirit. Students from across the school represented their houses with confidence and enthusiasm, delivering a wide variety of high-quality performances.

The standard this year was exceptionally strong, with students demonstrating not only musical skill but also commitment, teamwork and resilience in preparing for the event. It was fantastic to see such a supportive atmosphere, with students encouraging one another and taking pride in representing their houses.

Each house performed across a range of categories, including solo and ensemble performances, culminating in the much-anticipated house performances. The judges were extremely impressed by the overall standard, making the final decisions very close.

A huge congratulations to Kinman, who were crowned overall winners of this year’s competition. Cowper secured second place, closely followed by Hale in third. All houses—Croft, Wallace and Page—also performed brilliantly and contributed to a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Thank you to all students who took part, as well as the staff and student leaders who helped organise and run the event so smoothly. Events like this are a wonderful celebration of the talent and dedication within our school community.

We look forward to next year’s competition!
