We were delighted to celebrate the European Day of Languages with a fantastic two-week Duolingo House Challenge that brought out the best in our students and staff. The competition was fierce, with participants showing incredible dedication and enthusiasm as they racked up XP points in their chosen languages.

Now that the challenge has officially ended, we’re excited to share the results and recognise the amazing efforts of our language learners.

🏆 House Results

After tallying the scores, the final House rankings were:

  1. Kinman – 28.5%

  2. Hale – 22%

  3. Croft – 21%

  4. Cowper – 17%

  5. Page – 9%

  6. Wallace – 2%

(% represents the proportion of students out of 77 in each House who achieved 900+ XP.)

Over 300 students participated in total, but our focus was on the 82 students who earned 900 XP or more. Unfortunately, five of these students couldn’t be identified by name despite our best efforts.
